Brown Butter Moments: Event Rentals & Curated Experiences

Choose your services and event dates, complete checkout, and sign the Brown Butter Moments agreement. Your date is not reserved until all required signatures and cleared payment are received. The standard booking payment is 50% of the complete order, excluding optional gratuity and any separate rental-security authorization. The remaining balance is due 14 calendar days before the event. If you book within 14 calendar days of the event, the remaining balance is due immediately after booking. The full $50 consultation payment will be credited toward your final purchase if you move forward; if you do not move forward, it will be retained as payment for the consultation and will not be refunded. Some specialty services are provided by approved partners, subject to availability and the scope identified in your proposal; Brown Butter Moments remains your customer-facing contact.

Customer pickup is by appointment from the Brown Butter Moments Pickup Location. Delivery is available for qualifying orders with a $250 minimum. Automatic delivery pricing is available within 40 one-way miles of the pickup location; events beyond 40 miles require a custom quote. Your proposal states whether delivery, setup, placement, breakdown, or retrieval is included. Rental custody continues until BBM confirms return or collection, and return times must follow the confirmed reservation schedule. Customer-caused delays, failed pickup, extra trips, or overtime may be charged only at a quoted rate or as a documented authorized post-event charge. When rental property enters customer or venue custody, BBM may place a separately disclosed temporary authorization 48–72 hours before pickup or delivery and will initiate release of the unused amount within 1–2 business days after return or collection and inspection; bank timing may vary. Customers are not responsible for ordinary wear or documented pre-existing conditions, but are responsible for loss, theft, abnormal cleaning, misuse, or damage caused by the customer, guests, venue personnel, prohibited weather exposure, or outside vendors.

Cancellation or rescheduling must be sent to [email protected]. The cancellation charge is 15% of the Contract Price plus Committed Costs when received 61 or more calendar days before the event; 30% plus Committed Costs at 31–60 days; 50% plus Committed Costs at 15–30 days; and 100% at 14 days or fewer. Charges are capped at the Contract Price, excluding damage, loss, and delivered items. BBM will account for payments, refund any excess, and invoice any balance. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days after confirmation; bank posting time may vary. One request received at least 31 days before the event may be rescheduled, subject to availability, a $150 fee, Committed Costs, price changes, a signed change order, and a new date within 12 months. Later requests follow the cancellation schedule unless BBM agrees otherwise. Customers must provide an approved weather backup. If an event beyond reasonable control prevents performance, the parties will first try to reschedule within 12 months without the rescheduling fee.

The $50 consultation payment is required to confirm your appointment. If you move forward with Brown Butter Moments, the full $50 will be credited toward your final purchase. If you choose not to move forward, the $50 will be retained as payment for the consultation and will not be refunded. The consultation does not reserve your event date or guarantee availability; your date is reserved only after the applicable agreement and required booking payment are completed.
